About The Resource Center

Welcome to the Hope Animal Resource Center and the Philadelphia-based Hope Spay/Neuter Program. Hope Animal Sanctuary, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide compassionate refuge, veterinary care and forever homes for homeless, abandoned and abused companion animals and serve as a community resource to strengthen the human-animal bond.

What's Coming Soon?

We are in the planning stages for the shelter's physical site, and while we move toward groundbreaking we are working hard to reduce pet overpopulation and decrease the numbers of cats and dogs who are killed in Philadelphia simply because they don't have homes. Our low-cost, mobile spay/neuter and vaccine clinic visits neighborhoods around the city to provide needed services to the pets of low-to-moderate income Philadelphians who might not otherwise be able to afford to get their pets 'fixed' and vaccinated. Every pet spayed or neutered represents another litter (or two or three!) of kittens or puppies who won't end up on the streets or in shelters where they might be killed for lack of space.
