About The Resource Center

Our Mission:

Provide compassionate refuge, veterinary care and forever homes for homeless, abandoned and abused companion animals and serve as a community resource to strengthen the human-animal bond.

Our Goals:

  1. Through an extensive adoption program staffed by carefully trained adoption counselors, find foster or permanent homes for all companion animals that come into our care.
  2. Through a comprehensive spay/neuter program, stop the cycle of pet overpopulation and reduce the number of unwanted animals entering area shelters.
  3. Be a comprehensive resource for pet owners and the community by providing education and outreach programs that help keep animals in their homes and increase human-animal interactions that benefit pets and people.

Hope Animal Resource Center's physical site has been purchased and development of the land is in the planning stages. While we work toward groundbreaking, we are operating a low-cost mobile spay/neuter and vaccine program for low-to-moderate income Philadelphia-area residents.
